House of AnLi Bistro @Tanglin Mall

2017-02-25 09.53.26G had visited this place before and jio-ed us for breakfast on this lovely weekend, but we had no idea this was such a lovely place 🙂

A really cosy bistro located at the back of a home interior shop, we really loved the natural lighting coming through the large windows and high ceilings. The natural light, coupled with the simple deco and white walls, provided a much soothing environment. The clientele as we can see it, is very much the ex-pats which is to be expected since it is within Tanglin Mall.

The view of the beautiful greenery and the comfortable seats, and the great company made us feel very relaxed and in high spirits!

For brunch, we shared something From The Sea ($26++), and the pretty plate came with awesome smoked eel, avocado, asparagus, and avruga caviar, served with sourdough toast and poached egg.

We also shared the highly-recommended Tarte Au Fromage Blanc (Speculoos) ($12++), and it was light and not overly sweet.

We wanted to stop here, but G kept insisting that we try out the Croissant ($5.50++) which he ordered. Despite being left on the table for such a long time, because we were busy chatting and eating other stuff, the croissant still tasted so good! Good enough that we decided to order a Raisin Snail Bread ($5.50++), which was delicious as well.

Drinks-wise, we had a Latte ($5.50++) and Blanc & Rose (white tea with rose petals, $8++). Both were pretty alright.

Though the prices were a little on the high side, we really like the ambience of this place and the pastries. Probably worth another visit when we wish to escape from the crowd 🙂
