Foong Foong Ampang Yong Tau Foo 鸿鸿安邦酿豆腐 @Ampang, Malaysia

As a pitstop between Ipoh and Melaka, we decided to check out the real Ampang yong tau foo (YTF)!

It was not even 11am, and the small road leading to the place was already quite crowded. There was a “volunteer” by the road who would guide cars into parking for a token fee of RM2.

We managed to get seats fairly quickly, and for RM71, we were super impressed by the gigantic YTF pieces!! The YTF were all very fresh and tasted really different from the “Ampang” YTF we have tried back in Singapore. The stuffing were overflowing out of each piece, and the gravy was also not as thick.

I guessed this was huge happiness overflowing!
