九記牛腩 Kau Kee Food Cafe @Central, Hong Kong

A small outlet with long queues usually, we decided that we had to try once for ourselves after so many trips to Hong Kong.

We arrived just before 2pm, and thankfully, we only had to queue for about 10 minutes, while admiring the number of Teslas on Hong Kong streets.

The sitting arrangements were really tight, and we were sharing the table with 2 other groups, so this was really a quick-eat-and-go kind of place.

There was a minimum order of HKD65 per head, and we shared a Curry Beef Tendon with E-fu Noodles (HKD70) and Beef Brisket with Rice Noodles (HKD65), plus a Iced Milk Tea (HKD26). We thought the noodles were pretty good, despite reviews saying that standards had dropped. Maybe because this was our first time eating at this stall…
