We were here especially for the kopi gu you (coffee with condensed milk and butter) after seeing it on JY’s IG!
A very old-school coffeeshop, it seemed like time stood still here.
Compared to brightly-lit signages of the nearby coffeeshop, we almost missed this place because the signage kind of blended into the background 😛
We had Kaya Butter Toast with Kopi Gu You, and Teh-C Kosong. Despite us not stirring in the condensed milk, this kopi gu you was neither salty nor oily; in fact it was an aromatic strong cup of coffee. Very delicious!
The toast was good too, with a lovely crisp and they were generous with the butter and kaya. The teh-c was alright, but guess everyone is here for the kopi 🙂
