We finally climbed 象山 Elephant Mountain after so many trips to Taipei!

Despite the short distance, there were so many steps, and some were huge steps. Our poor knees! The place was crowded with both locals and tourists wanting to catch the night city view.

We started around 5pm, took us almost an hour to reach the peak with multiple stops, and we stayed for the sunset and till Taipei 101 lit up. The weather was hot but the skies were clear, and the view was quite beautiful.
The pathway was pretty well-lit at night, and we managed to walk down the hill without incident, sometimes switching on our torchlight function with our phones. I felt very accomplished and satisfied that we finally made it here, after so many trips to Taipei!
