It’s our first time to the Singapore Night Festival (SNF)!
The areas were spread between Dhoby Ghaut and Cityhall MRT stations, so we decided to get off at Cityhall MRT and made our way up. We first walked past a street of food stalls, abit like a upmarket pasar malam, where food prices were very upmarket too 😛 Nothing caught our fancy, and it was also quite quiet… so we decided to continue on, hoping for better food options, while quietly keeping a lookout for restaurants along the way… haha!
Reached Armenian Street, where it appeared to be one of the main attraction sites, with props lying around. Guessed we were too early to catch the next show! We did see some guys jamming on stage, but what caught our eyes was actually the food truck near the stage.
We have always been curious about food trucks, having seen lots of them in shows on Food Network Asia… and now we had our chance! There wasn’t any queue, so we thought maybe the food wasn’t so good, but we had a very pleasant surprise!
For $6, we had a decent sized pasta with very delicious laksa gravy, and about 4-5 prawns and squid rings each… the best was that the food was actually hot!
By the time we were done eating, a snake queue had formed… haha! Luckily we were 10mins earlier 😉
