We came to town to check out the Robinson’s sale and decided to try out Trattoria Italian Kitchen as they are currently having a buy one main free one champagne for ladies on Wednesday nights… and I needed to reward myself after a bad day at work… hehe.
Tagliolini Neri Alla Trattoria
The Tagliolini Neri Alla Trattoria is quite value for money! 4 big mussels, 5 huge peeled prawns, 5-6 clams and countless of squid pieces for the price of $20.90++! The pasta was not bad, but can’t say that it was exceptional.
Vegetarian Calzone Pizza
This cute biggie moon-shaped Vegetarian Calzone pizza ($20.50) resembled a super big curry puff! The cheese was delicious! Quite enjoyed it, but the sausages were too peppery for my liking, and we also found it odd that the tomato sauce that came with it was served cold…
We think it’s quite worth coming, especially with the current promotion of a little glass of champagne.
We actually read quite a few bad reviews of this place, but maybe we were lucky that the dishes we picked were quite decent. The service could have been a bit better, since it took us two tries before we got our rather cold “warm” water….
