We have been coming here (a bit less regularly than we would have wanted) for its wonderful coffee. But we have never posted about it. Maybe we didn’t want too many people to know about it, lest it disturb the serenity of this wonderful place… Haha…

We were introduced to Yahava by wifey’s friend and after our first visit, we immediately loved the place!

It’s a very simple setting with large tables and chairs and a set of cozy sofa right at the middle of the cafe. There is a wall-mounted projector and I presumed the area can be turned into a mini-lecture area when they are conducting classes. Yes they do conduct courses through The Yahava Koffee Academy which offers barista training courses for all skill levels. But I seriously doubt anyone could concentrate in such a lovely aromatic place, complete with soft music and soothing lights…

So on this lazy afternoon, the weather was just too hot to handle. We took our phones and a book (on Scandinavia!!) and came here to nua away.

It was not too crowded and we took the round table just in front of the world map (so that we can easily refer to the various countries in Scandinavia when we needed).

As usual, I ordered my skinny Latte and wifey ordered Chok Chai.

The coffee here is very aromatic and just simply heavenly. Plus they do very nice latte art! The Chok Chai is a twist from Chai Latte and has a dash of cocoa powder over the top. The scone was hot and gave us something to munch on while researching on our next trip…
