HOUSE @Dempsey Hill

HOUSE occupies an entire block

It was tea time, as we continued to explore Dempsey Hill on this Labour Day long weekend!

We strolled to HOUSE and managed to get seats by the floor-to-ceiling window, which was really lovely because we could look at all the greenery and still be enjoying the air-conditioning with adjustable blinds to have just the right amount of sunlight!

The environment was truly soothing and relaxing, with huge spaces between tables, and we can’t help but noticed the smell of spa essence oils (which later we found out that there is indeed a spa that is in the same building, possibly owned by the same people. 🙂)

House Pancakes

Cafe Latte

We shared a House Pancakes ($19++), while hubby had a Latte ($6++), and I wanted Sea Breeze ($8++).

Pancakes were the first to arrive! 3 fluffy pancakes topped with fresh strawberries, kiwi and passion fruit, with very awesome vanilla cream. Mixed with chocolate, the combination was irresistible. It was the first time I wanted to finish all the cream 😮

Our drinks took quite a while to arrive, and when it did, I was quite surprised to see “Sea breeze” written on the tea pot with marker. I guess there would be no mistakes about my tea! The white tea, with rose and ylang ylang, made me feel like going for a spa :p I loved the fragrance! Hubby thought that the coffee was quite good, slightly acidic but definitely a strong cup of coffee.

This was a lovely place to hang out in the afternoon! Now we have to make plans to try out the vintage high tea here that is only available on Thursdays and Fridays, haha!
