One of the non-Japanese options at Orchard ION, we were attracted by the picture of the Angus beef, and decided to have dinner here.
- Angus Beef Set Meal ($15.90): Braised Australian Angus beef with steamed rice, it was served with braised egg, braised tofu, and orange slices. The beef was quite tough, what a waste!
- Beef Tendon Kway Teow Soup ($12.90): We liked that we had the options of selecting kway teow, yellow noodles or thick bee hoon; as well as a choice of superior herbal broth or thick herbal gravy. We took the kway teow with broth, and it was not very memorable.
- Creamy Butter Chicken ($10.90): We were shocked by the small quantity given the price. The beef items seemed to be more value-for-money. Oh well, at least the fried chicken was not too bad, quite crispy; the pumpkin gravy was quite alright.
In all, it was quite a disappointing meal 😦
