Pho Pasteur @Haymarket, Sydney

Sydney has become such a melting pot of cultures that we are now able to find yummy food from all around the world right in Sydney itself.

Tonight after a long walking day, we picked Pho Pasteur (just before it closed for the day) based on the recommendation from Ms I, as always. 🙂

Everything looked good on the menu but we ordered:

  • Special Beef Rice Noodle Soup (A$13 for small): This warm bowl of pho was just what we needed on a windy night! Beef slices were aplenty and we thoroughly slurped up all the soup.
  • Grilled Pork and Spring Roll with Vermicelli (A$13): This was a very refreshing bowl of goodness. We especially liked the mixture of all the vegetables with the vermicelli and the sauce, coupled with the crunchiness of the peanuts.
  • Prawn and Pork wrapped in Rice Paper (A$8): The spring rolls came with huge succulent prawns and the sauce gave it the punch that lifted the otherwise bland dish.
