Burpz Cafe & Bakery @AMK

Newly opened!

Nice deco!

We chanced upon the website while surfing for neighborhood cafés and were pleasantly surprised by this new establishment that had opened only on May this year!

So while we were waiting for our blueberry cheesecake pie to cool down in the fridge, we brought our niece there for an early dinner!

The cafe was small but had both indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of new magazines available for browsing and free wifi was available (get password from the staff), so we ended up spending a few hours here 🙂

Japanese Curry Beef Burger

The curry beef burger was huge with a truckload of pulled beef piled on top of the freshly baked bread. Really generous of them! The bread was delicious, the beef was flavourful; we could almost see ourselves becoming regulars here already!

Fish & Chips

The fish and chips was delicious too! The batter was not overly thick and the fish was not oily. Very happy with the meal!

Tiramisu with Latte

Great chill-out area!

Much encouraged by the mains, we decided to try their desserts. The cakes didn’t really look very appetizing in the fridge, as they looked really plain and boring. We decided on a tiramisu and were pleasantly surprised when it finally arrived at our table. Turned out that the staff would make final touches to the cake upon ordering and now we had an appealing and delicious cake 😀

The cafe has a homely feel to it and we had a great time just chilling out and reading the magazines while sipping on latte. I forsee many more trips to Burpz…
