Latte and Hot Chocolate

Latte and Hot Chocolate

It was our last breakfast in London, so we gotta have more traditional London food!

We had walked past Vale Victoria when we went to TILES, so we decided to give it a try as well because it looked like an authentic London cafe, and there were many customers when we walked past the last time.

The decorations were actually quite old school and the staff were all dressed up for Halloween, making this a rather interesting (and scary at first because we didn’t expect the face of the waitress to be full of blood!) breakfast experience 🙂

We ordered a Full Breakfast (£7.95), and a Victoria Club (£7.99) to share, while hubby had his usual Cafe Latte (£2.80) and I decided on Hot Chocolate (£2.70).

Full Breakfast

The full breakfast was really filling with yummy but greasy cumberland sausages, baked bacon, grilled tomato, mushrooms and fried egg, and also lots of baked bean, as well as black pudding, hash brown and 2 toasted granary toast. It was very yummy but it was too much for one person, I think.

The club sandwich (grilled chicken breast, gammon ham, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise on toasted granary bread) was as plentiful as the full breakfast, and the mayonnaise made the grilled chicken and ham even more delicious!

The drinks were alright. The latte was nothing to shout about. So was the hot chocolate. 🙂
