Wonderful spread

We had read about this rather popular Cha Chan Teng 茶餐廳 and decided to come here for breakfast before doing the heritage trail on our 2nd day in Hong Kong!

At 10am on a hot Saturday morning, there was a relatively long queue. Thankfully, the queue moved rather fast and we were seated within 10 minutes.

We ordered 黑松露炒蛋多士 Scrambled Eggs with Truffle on Toast (HKD 40)，特色猪扒包 Devil’s Pork Chop Bun (HKD 20), Coffee and Milk Tea. The scrambled eggs were really very excellent! Moist and buttery, it was an oh-so-heavenly breakfast option! The thick toast was soft and went well with the eggs. The pork chop bun was really a devil because of the very spicy wasabi mayonnaise 😮
