We read about this highly recommended Spanish restaurant, and decided to come here for dinner after our city walking tour. It was not yet 6pm when we reached, but the place was already full of people!
Note that tapas are really meant as a single small portion, but we decided to share anyway, so that we can try more variety, hehe…
For tapas, we shared Anguila (Smoked Eel with Celeriac Remoulade & Dried Jamon A$5.50) Caballa Ahumada (House Cold Smoked Spanish Mackerel with Pine Nut Gazpacho Sorbet A$6.50), and Queso (Whipped Goat’s Milk Cheese Wrapped in Quince Paste & Brik Pastry A$4).
For mains, we tried one of the specials Duck Confit, Bistec Tartare de Waygu (Spicy Steak Tartare of Raw, Grass-fed Wagyu Beef A$18.50), and Cordoniz (Whole Butterflied Quail with Broccolini, Anchovy Sauce & Horseradish A$22).
Everything was delicious 😀 In particular, the smoked mackerel was exceptional!
