With only one full day in Osaka, we managed to check out Pablo, minus the long queues seen in the recently-opened Singapore outlet, as well as a lovely cafe. As we had to take a bus to Itami Airport for the domestic flight to Miyazaki, we also found time to grab a bite at the Osaka City Air Terminal and Itami Airport 🙂

There are 12 stores in Japan, and we went to the branch at 道頓堀 Dotonburi (which is actually on 心斎橋 Shinsaibashi), because there was no queue 😀
This branch had both dine-in (upstairs) and take-away (ground floor) options. The cheese tarts were pretty huge, but there were mini ones available for take-away. While we had yet to try the ones at the Singapore outlet, we were very impressed by the プレーン チーズタルト Plain (i.e. Original) Cheese Tart (¥780 with tax). Despite sounding plain, it was very delicious! The addictive cheese filling was very smooth and creamy, and the crust was oh-so-buttery and fragrant.
Check their website for locations and opening hours of all outlets

カフェ・ヴェーク Cafe Weg
Located in a quiet street not too far away from 立花通り (Tachibana Dori) Orange Street, we found this little cafe after some Googling. It was timely too, for we were getting really tired, and nursing a headache!
Hubby had a Iced カフェ ラテ Caffe Latte (¥560), while I opted for a Hot ミルクティー Milk Tea (¥560).
Drinks were not bad, but what we really liked was the cosy atmosphere (and the dainty tea cup :P). It was also really sweet of the staff who expressed concerns for us upon seeing how tired we looked 😮

グリーンカフェ Green Cafe
We slept in a little, and headed straight to Osaka City Air Terminal (OCAT) to get our bus tickets to 伊丹空港 Itami Airport.
Once we got our tickets, we went hunting for breakfast, and found グリーンカフェ Green Cafe on the first floor. There were 2 breakfast set options; Western Set (¥480) or Japanese Set (¥580), and we decided to share a Japanese set.
Food was not bad, though the salmon was a tad too salty.

At Cafe (Itami Airport)
There was some time at Itami Airport after we had checked in for our flight from Osaka to Miyazaki.
Since there would only be drinks on board this domestic ANA flight, we decided to share a small plate of ハンバーグ カレー Hamburger Curry Rice (¥850) at At Cafe, operated by The Asahi Airport Service Co., Ltd.
We were pleasantly surprised by the juicy meat patty, and the curry was more spicy than the usual Japanese curry that we were used to.
Not a bad option if you needed a quick bite before boarding 🙂
