三多屋爸爸嘴 Sando House @Taipei

IMG20171101125503Our hotel staff recommended going to 華陰街 Huaying Street area for lunch, and we must say, it was a great recommendation!

We had been here during our previous trip, and unfortunately, the 麻醬涼麵 Sesame Cold Noodle stall had already closed down. So we kept walking, till we saw 2 long queues side-by-side, one for 脆皮鮮奶甜甜圈 Crispy Fresh Donuts (Taiwanese donuts that was apparently even better than the big brands), and the other for 三多屋爸爸嘴 Sando House, a place selling value-for-money sashimi.

Needless to say, we joined the lunch crowd, and got ourselves a huge 现切綜合生魚片 Sashimi Platter (NT500 for large), and a 三多屋特餐 Sando House Special Set (NT250), which consisted of 樱花虾鮭魚炒飯 Sakura Shrimp and Salmon Fried Rice, 烤鯖魚 Grilled Saba, and a bowl of 味噌湯 Miso Soup.

Once we placed our orders, we were led to our seats by the counter. It might be a small place, but the turnover was pretty fast, and food was served very quickly too.

We were always very amazed by the super thick cuts of sashimi in Taiwan, and this place certainly did not disappoint. Twenty five (yes, we counted!) thick and fresh sashimi slices that tasted awesome! The fried rice was very fragrant and was topped with so much ingredients. Even the miso soup had fish slices in it!

We were so happy to have found this place 🙂
