Famous Fried Oyster
After so many years of working in this area, I finally discovered Whampoa Market and Food Centre!
There were 3 blocks – Blk 90 caters to the evening crowd, Blk 91 is more for day crowds (only the fish head steamboat plus a couple of drinks stall opened on both evenings that we were there), while Blk 92 is the wet market.
I was in the east for work and we decided to have a local dinner for tonight! It’s National Day after all 🙂 Happy Birthday Singapore!!
It was really crowded on a Saturday evening, and the snake-long queues in front of the more popular stalls were quite daunting. We decided to eat one dish at a time 🙂
