We haven’t been to this place since when we first started dating 😛 But bro mentioned this place last week, so we thought that we could come here as an alternative to the getting-pricier Quality Hotel porridge buffet.

A decent spread
The daily Taiwanese porridge buffet dinner, priced at $13.80 on weekdays and $15.80 from Fridays to Sundays, and on eve and public holidays, serves simple but delicious dishes, with braised items such as pork belly, beancurd, tao pok and egg, and other items such as chai poh egg, salted egg, fried fish, curry, vinegar pig’s trotters, etc.
Desserts include a few kinds of cakes, cut fruits, and of worthy mention, the durian melaka and barley with beancurd sheets. The durian melaka was soooooooo good, not overly sweet and full of durian richness. I’m not a big fan of barley, but found the barley to be quite tasty as it was firm and chewy.
