JWC The Bear and Fish @Skudai, Johor Bahru, Malaysia

We definitely needed some drinks by now 😛

The Classic Cold Brew (RM16) was really aromatic and the lingering taste after a sip was quite heavenly. The Mixed Fruit Tea (RM17.90) was quite refreshing, and the Cornpuccino (RM15) was interesting, but we thought the Cold Brew was the best! We also shared a sesame cheesecake which was not bad.

We liked the space here and chilled for a while before going for more shopping at the nearby Sutera Mall.

PK Caffe @Taipei

IMG20171031160126We did another pit stop at PK Caffe after 克爾咖啡 Quel Cafe, and we were very glad that we did!

A small cosy cafe in a rather quiet neighbourhood, we had a 卡布奇諾 Cappuccino (NT70) and 红枣黑木耳露 Red Dates Black Fungus Drink (NT60).

The coffee was aromatic and strong, which was a really good perk-me-up for we had been walking the whole day in search of Chen’s Cold Noodle.

My first time trying this Red Dates Black Fungus Drink, and I thought it was pretty good and not overly sweet 🙂

The staff here was also very friendly, and even gave us some recommendations for dinner 🙂

(which incidentally was also dumplings, haha)

Pancake Cafe ELK KYOTO @Kawaramachi

We had chanced upon this pancake cafe because of the huge advertisement on its 3D latte art, and we decided that this would be a good resting point after our walk in the nearby Nishiki market.

We were really too full to try any pancakes, so we had カプチーノ Cappuccino, カフェオレCafé Au Lait, and チョコレートミルク Hot Chocolate Milk. Each of the drinks cost ¥680+ (including 3D latte art).

The drinks were just alright, but the latte art were so pretty that we were really careful in sipping our drinks, haha! The staff were also very friendly and helpful, and I managed to request for a less-sweet version of hot chocolate through our very broken Japanese.

We had the sofa seats on the first floor, and chilled for a good hour or so 🙂

Roast Coffee @Thong Lor, Bangkok

Nice ambience!

Nice ambience!

We woke up early to go to Roast Coffee for breakfast! It was not difficult to find and we reached the place close to its opening hours so we could easily get a table for the 5 of us. The decoration was very chic and well-lit, with full-length glass windows and very high ceilings giving a very spacious interior.

Greyhound Cafe @Siam Center, Bangkok

Chic exterior

Chic exterior

We were finally cafe hopping and hubby had previously done some research, and it seemed like Greyhound Cafe was a good choice!

We had a little difficulty locating the cafe, as Siam Center as a shopping mall was rather big, and there was actually a fashion store by the same name (that’s the origin of the Greyhound name).

Anyway, the cafe was quite near the fashion store, and we immediately fell in love with the environment when we reached.

dr.CAFE Coffee @Chinatown Point

Chinatown Point

Cosy corner

Thirsty from lunch, we went to the nearby dr.CAFE Coffee for a drink!

The little corner that dr. CAFE Coffee occupied is perfect for a lay-back indulgence on a hot afternoon, especially with the cosy sofas! We were lucky to grab a couple of sofa seats right at the end of the cafe and happily lounging on it while watching the world goes by…
