After our cherry blossom viewing, we walked back towards 여의도역 Yeouido Station 汝矣島站, and the IFC Mall was nearby, with plenty of food options. Since we wanted to have Korean food, we opted for 사리원 Sariwon Bulgogi, which had pretty good online reviews.
The menu was available in English, Chinese and Korean, and we took a lunch special 육수 불고기세트 (Yuksu Bulgogi Seteu) Hand Marinated Prime Beef with Broth Set 肉湯烤肉套餐 (₩18,500 per person).
We found the 냉면 (Naengmyeon) Cold Buckwheat Noodles 冷麵 to be the highlight of the meal. Delightfully chilled, we enjoyed the texture of the noodles very much. The beef was so-so. Not exactly a satisfying or cheap meal, but well, it was located in a mall.

After a heavy breakfast, we figured that it was time for some walking 🙂
We wanted a relaxing day today, and it seemed like a good day for some cherry blossom viewing.
I was sleeping off the effects of the flu medicine and we ended up having a really late lunch near our hotel, at a restaurant recommended by one of the hotel staff.
First started in 1905, 광장시장 Gwangjang Market 廣藏市場 is one of the oldest, and largest traditional markets in South Korea.
Our first visit to the market was close to 9pm, and the food street bustling with lots of action!

A visit to Seoul would not have felt complete, if we did not visit at least one of the 5 royal palaces. We chose to visit the oldest, and largest, 경복궁 Gyeongbokgung Palace 景福宮 (which translated to “Palace Greatly Blessed by Heaven”).
We had been having so much street food, and decided to have a proper, leisure, sit-down dinner today 🙂
부대찌개 (Budae Jjigae) Korean Army Stew 部隊鍋 is one of the very popular food to have whenever our friends have a gathering. We figured that we should have a proper one before the girls get home!
We had yet to enjoy sashimi during this trip, and just before the girls depart for home, we decided to visit 노량진수산물도매시장 Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market 鷺梁津水產市場 for some fresh seafood 😀
